After breakfast we will leave the place heading to another destination. there are options up to Jagat, either to follow old route where motorable road is now. other alternative route is also there. Which is steep up and steep down and more time consuming too. If you like to get in involved with local life suggest or recommend to stay in Upper Chipla. Where only home stay facility is available in contact later in the near future will be lodges there too. From here to Jagat have to descend down about an hour otherwise following same road side.Which would be too dusty and disturbing while walking and would be too short to Jagat from Ghermu.
Day 4: Upper Chipla to Taal(1700 meters) Time: 5 hours
We will start as usual from Upper Chipla , after an hours walk down we will cross the Myarshangdi River and continue to walk on road there is no other option, up to now. In between we can see one waterfall called Chyamje waterfall. Where water is coming from mt. Manaslu. After an hour walk to chyamje descend to cross Myarsangdi again and continue to Taal. Day 5: Taal to Timang(2700 meters) Time: 6 hours

After breakfast we will leave Taal heading toward Chame Dharapani on the roadside. The old path from right hand side and could be closed because of landslide and rocks otherwise this side of the river is pleasant to walk. Till lower Dharapani, we can follow this other option is to climb up to Nache village to observe local people and way of life. Then continue to upper Dharapani. If we follow this have climb up steep to Nache and follow through forest and one gumba can be visited during the walk and again have to descend down to Upper Dharapani and continue to Timang from the same right hand side of Myarsangdi there is rough road also but not disturbing like of the left. Then we have to join to Danaque on road after some time walking on road follow the old trail. Still have to cross road few time before entering the forest trail.

Day 6: Timang to Upper Pisang(3300 meters) Time: 6-7 hours
We will leave as usual land continue on road side till another next small settlement. and follow the alternative route then join to motorable road. continue same. in between Bartang comes. which was a place where Tibetan warrior soldiers called Khapsas used to live. now those old adjacent buildings of those Khamps were removed and big apple garden is developed. we can stop here either for lunch or for some tea or some apples according to seasons. then contiue to road. place called Swargadwari comes. have to climb up some time then motorable road. we arrive to dhikurpokhari village we can rest for some time and continue to destination Upper pisang. during this walk the rock formation in the east or if you turn back while walking that looks very impressive. we will reach to Upper pisang. this is a nice village according to the time left to us we can walk around the village and in the evening we can visit monastery where the prayer happens every day. if the weather is clear we can see Annapurna 2 and 4.
Day 7: Upper pisang to Nagwal(3650) Time: 5-6 hours
Todays walk would be much more scenic . we will follow the same side where we stay. after almost an hours walk we have to climb up to Ghyaru, another Tibetan style settlement on the way. takes almost two hours or more to get to ghyaru. from there the mountains looks very impressive. if the weather is very clear. then continue to Nagwal. that is another 3 hours walk. which is comperatively flat than before. Nagwal is also a nice settlement houses are adjacent and mud roofed. slowly corregated Irons started. view is impressive from here too. can be seen Annapurna 3 from here. and some other mountains.
Day 8 : Nagwal to Braga (3450meters) Time:4-5 hours

Now there are two options to get to Bragha village. one is old side which is shorter and now most of the part we have to walk on the rough road. another is newly opened alternative route. which is more longer. But very scenic if we follow this side we have to walk on the river while crossing in one place. In this case of high route we may not have option to eat on the way. so have to be prepared for the necessary food for the day. then we will reach to Braga village which is nice. some old monasteries can be observed here.

Day 9: Rest day for acclimatization

It would be a rest day in order to adapt the weather around here before we start going high. in this rest day, either just rest and relax or there are options to do something. options are visit to Ice lake located at 4600 meters which is another nice fact before crossing high pass. or Milarepa cave, and a monastery above Mungi. or visit to Gangapurna lake below Manang.

Day 10 : Braga to Yak kharka(4050) Time: 4-5 hours

After breakfast we will leave first manang village comes after 30 minutes then tanki manag and then Ghunsang and comes yak kharka. the trail in this side is very scenic if you keep turning back to see mountains if weather permits to appreciate the glorious height of Annapurnas and Khangser. We wills stay in yak kharka. during summer sometime we can see peoples who comes to search Yarcha gumba ( a kind of mushroom or fungus half animal during winter and plant during summer)

Day 11 : Yak Kharka to Thorang Phedi(4500 meters) Time: 3-4 hours

After breakfast we will ascend slowly following and leaving bit grassy and thorny bushes till we cross the Marshyangdi river then have to follow through the scree or landslide. Before landslide area there is a temporary day tea shop in between on the slope. From here more or less one and half hours it takes to reach to thorang phedi. Our night stay would be here where there were 3 lodges till we update this itinerary.

Day 12: Thorang Phedi to High Camp(4800 meters) Time:1.5-2 hours

After breakfast we can stroll around the phedi or go to the river side to look around if fortune favour a rare species of vulture can be seen around this cliffy area. as it is a short day today to get to High camp. we can spend more time around thorang phedi or we can go right after breakfast to be safe to secure the rooms at High camp and we can stroll around there if we are lucky enough sometime flocks of blue sheep or flock of Tibetan snowcock can be found. more or less it is one and half hours to two hours walk up to High camp from Thorang phedi. we are doing this to make it easy and another acclimatization process before crossing high pass.

Day 13 : Thorang High Camp to Muktinath(3800 meters) Time: 7-8 hours
It will be a long day early in the morning we will set off for Pass. having early breakfast packing some snacks for the day and enough water, before the dawn to reach the pass to evade the strong afternoon wind. It goes gently up except some steep sections and will be harder as the oxygen level getting thinner and thinner climbing higher and higher. In between High camp and pass there are few temporary or seasonal tea shops if you wish for some hot drinks can be available during season. We should not push hard gently follow our own pace smoothly. It is not a race obviously. You should drink lots of water as soon as we start decending down. even if the wind blow effect would be less. in total gonna take 7-8 hours to reach to Muktinath. Our night stay would be in muktinath.
Day 14 : Muktinath to Lubra(2790 meters) Time: 4-5 hours

Early in the morning we can go to Muktinath temple to see around and can observe how hindu Devotees take bath on ice cold 108 spouts on the back side of Muktinath Temple. This God is worshipped as a god of salvation. until and unless you do not worship Muktinath you will not be salvated that is the hindu belief. But, these tibeto people of Nepal who are living in Mustang they worship as a form of Buddha. as it is worshipped by hindu also there is not a male priest in the temple. there are nuns only who is the head priest there. after seeing temple. we can go to observe a natural blue flame. which is inside the nunnery in the premises of Muktinath temple compound. After that we can return back for breakfast.

After breakfast we will leave muktinath heading to Lubra. It is a small Gurung viillage of tibetan people. The path goes gently up to Lubra pass and descends steep similarly like of Thorang la to muktinath. But the view is spectacular. And there is more to explore around Lubra if you are interested. To visit those old caves where people used to meditate and are revived back to promote tourism. And old Bonpo gumba is here also. It is interesting if you like to know more about the local practices. #Note: if time left same day or you wish not to stay in the village can be continued to Jomsom also.if you want to go to jomsom other option to go through would be kagbeni either we can descend down to Kagbeni or via lubra your choice. There is an option to walk doing back and forth to motorable road or old walking trail. now a days alternative option also available. up to Kagbeni. Which is also as important religious site for hindu people. specially during October before the dashain festival people goes to offer ricepudding balls to their dead parents doing some ritual process in the presence of the priest. which we call shrada. Then continue on motorable road to Jomsom which would be too dusty or have to use local transport or private jeep.

After breakfast we can set off for Jomsom or Marpha which is more or less 3-4 hours walk. Jomsom is the district headquartor of Mustang. and there is a small domestic airport also to facilitate the transportation option for people. in the past that was the only alternative option for journey on foot to Beni. now already the road access is available . now it is a busy town. if you like to skip the crowded Jomsom to stay. if we continue another one and half hour further there is another nice village called Marpha. There is apple garden and apple there available in season are popularly known as Marphali apple or Mustange Apple. If you still like to explore this lower mustang there are few villages around near to marpha. Thini village and Dumba lake opposite to Jomsom. opposite to Marpha Chhimang and Chhairo. etc. If you would like to skip these aforementioned side trips around Jomsom and marph we can continue to Sauru from the left hand side of river via mulpani. Which is arojnd 4 hours walk from Marpha. From sauru Dhailagiri can be seen clearly and tukuche peak and some other mountains too.

#PS:One option could be flying back to Pokhara from Jomsom which is costly if your are depending on certain budget. other option is we can use public bus or sharing basis jeep back to pokhara which takes 8-9 hours in general if the road condition is smooth without any disturbance.
Day 16 : Sauru to Kopchepani (1615meters) Time: 4-5 hours
